Yvonne Marie Daugird

Yvonne Marie Daugird, 63, Indianapolis, passed away on June 22, 2018. She was a proud, devoted and loving mother to her daughters Emily Sherer (Brian) of Fishers, IN and Claire Werner (Joshua) of Batesville, IN. Yvonne was married to James Stoner (Carmel) for 33 years and additionally is survived by her three grandsons Frank and Henry (Werner) and Conner (Sherer). Yvonne grew up in Southern California and was one of six daughters. She is survived by her sisters Susan Shieff, Paulette Rouland, Maureen Harris, Carlotta Grover and Camielle Kittridge, who plan to keep her memory alive with thoughts of all the escapades, entertaining and good times they shared. Yvonne was an extremely hard worker and touched many during her 11 years working at Meijer and 5 years working at Indiana Criminal Justice Institute. She was a friend to all she encountered, could make anyone laugh, was always buying little gifts for people- just because, and was known to always have Smarties in her pocket and share with anyone (including her grandsons). She will be missed by many and her spirit will live on through all those who loved her. Visitation will be held Friday at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, from 4-8pm, with a rosary service at 7:30pm. A Mass will take place Saturday at St Louis de Montfort at 11am, with visitation beginning there at 10am. Online condolences may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
