Wilma Green

Greenfield, Indiana – Wilma Green passed away on June 22, 2023. Wilma was born to Mauro Sferruzzi and Cloda Sferuzzi (Christy) in Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 3, 1930. She was 93 years old.

Wilma graduated from Howe High School and married the love of her life Robert L. Green shortly after. They remained devoted until his passing in 2010.

Wilma could often be found sewing, spending time in her garden, or pursuing her passion of painting however what Wilma devoted herself to more than any other pursuit, was her family. She’ll be forever remembered for her laughter, her kindness, and treating everyone like an old friend.

Wilma is survived by her son, Todd Green (Kim); and sisters Virginia and Carolyn.

Friends and family will gather for a celebration of life in Wilma’s honor on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East from 1 pm to 3 pm.  Wilma will be privately laid to rest beside her late husband in Washington Park East Cemetery.
