Wilma "Faye" Fowler

Wilma “Faye” Fowler, 79, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 28, 2022.

She was born in Derby, Virginia on October 3, 1943, to Robert “Vas” and Eurah Burke.

Faye lived in Fortville, Indiana on Main Street for over 40 years and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was a sweet and lovable lady who adored Christmas and angels. She was a selfless woman who volunteered many hours of her time to Al-Anon and the Families of Alcoholics. She will be very missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Denise, Crystal, and Becky; grandchildren, Randy, Kiley, Bobby, Zachery, Mackenzie, Brayden, and Logan; and great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Jayden, Randy, Hank, Journey, Xander, Lexie, and Jonezy; and a sister, Betty.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229 with entombment to follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.
