Wilma Doris Blaskiewicz, 92, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on December 23, 2020. She was born on April 23, 1928 to the late Winfred Cleveland and Nellie Mae (Thomas) Shelton in Rumsey, Kentucky.

At a young age, Wilma came to Indianapolis and later married and raised her family in the area. She was a loving mother of three girls and one stepson and dedicated much of her life to her family. Wilma and her young family spent summer vacations in Evansville, Indiana at the homes of some of her siblings. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters when her daughters were young and enjoyed dressing up as Phyllis Diller and putting on skits at nursing homes with her fellow Pythian Sisters. She was pretty good at the role, too!

Wilma and her family enjoyed fishing, berry picking, and she loved playing Euchre. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and she had a talent for drawing. Wilma also enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint. She loved animals and the family had multiple pets over the years including cats, dogs, parakeets, and a chicken hawk! She had a way with animals. Wilma passed away peacefully with her eldest daughter, Karen, at her side.

Wilma is survived by her adoring daughters, Karen Hungerford, Tina Hall and Mariea Klajderman, 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

She is preceded in death by her husbands Edwin T. King, Richard O. Rickard, and Joseph B. Blaskiewicz and her parents Winfred and Nellie (Thomas) Shelton, and all her siblings namely: James R., Lloyd Alton, Winfred Jr., David Howard (Shirley Mack) Shelton, and John Eaton Kuntzner and Mary Lenora (Shelton) Dennis, Nellie Louise (Shelton) Ragland, and Carolyn Jeanette (Shelton) Bearden, her stepson Charles E. King, and two of her grandsons Brandon Fisher and Edwin (little Eddie) King III.

Wilma will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery.
