William N. Kirkham, Sr., 93, passed from this life December 19, 2021 in Indianapolis, IN. He was born October 29, 1928 in Indianapolis to Joseph Samuel & Dora May (nee Greeson) Kirkham.
William worked as a police officer for much of his life. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, Murat Temple, and Mystic Circle Lodge #685. He also served as a Republican Precinct Committeeman for many years. Late in life he developed a love of painting. He spent the last 4 years of his life studying the late Bob Ross and continually trying to improve his painting skills.
He is survived by his children William Kirkham Jr., Anita Asbury, Donna Anderson, Linda Page, Kathy Walden, and Michael Kirkham, as well as 14 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Cecil Kirkham and daughter Shirley Rudler.
The family invites friends and guests for viewing 10:30 – 12 noon Friday, January 7, 2022 at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway at 2950 N. High School Road in Indianapolis. William will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery following the services.
