William Marcus Gordon

William Marcus Gordon of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2023.  Bill was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 5, 1944 to the late Lester Talbot Gordon and Helen Louise Waldron Gordon.  He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Lester Talbot Gordon II and George Grant Gordon.

Bill Attended Arsenal Technical High School and graduated from North Central High School in Indianapolis.   He then attended IUPUI before being drafted and entering the Army in 1966.  He served 2 years active duty and then 4 years on standby reserve receiving an Honorable discharge in 1972.  He retired from the Army Air Force Exchange Service in Germany and returned to live his life out with his family In Indianapolis.

Bill is survived by his stepson, Andre Rebetge (Vera) and their son, Alexander.

Bill will be laid to rest with Military Honors in Washington Park North Cemetery in a private ceremony.
