William K. Griffin

Age 78, of Indianapolis, IN. passed away on January 9, 2017. William was born in Marion, Indiana to James and Pauline (Folguson) Griffin. He served his Nation faithfully as a member of the U.S. Army where he operated Heavy Trucks. After leaving the armed forces, he spent most of his days working as a truck driver, and eventually met the love of his life, Delia Ann Griffin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delia, and niece, Kelly Dilts.

Surviving to Cherish his memory are his sisters, Phyllis Smith and Nancy Hunter; nieces, Kim Jacobson and Melissa Hunter; his great nieces and nephews; as well as his "acquired" family consisting of Jose Zavala, April Constant, Brianna Zavala, Jose Zavala II, David Bays, Antonio Zavala, and Gracie Zavala; all of whom will miss him dearly.

Visitation for William will be held from 11a.m. – 1p.m. on Thursday, January 12 at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis. The funeral service will be held at 1p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
