William H. Betker

William H. Betker, 62, of Indianapolis, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.

He was born on April 19, 1957 in Canton, OH to Raymond F. and Rosa (Dixon) Betker. Bill attended Arsenal Tech and George Washington High Schools. He spent 14 years serving in the National Guard and also worked as an attendant for Swifty Oil. Bill enjoyed fishing, working on race cars and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his parents; siblings, Laura Tripplett, Raymond F. Betker, Jr., and James Betker; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved canine companion, Daisy.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 9, 2019 from 4-8pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East. Funeral services will take place the following afternoon at 1pm, also in the funeral center. Burial with military honors will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
