William Glenn Roos, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away January 22, 2023. He was born October 9, 1929, in Wood River, Illinois, the son of the late Arthur and Frieda (Morlock) Roos. He married Freida F. Creek on November 26, 1958.
William was a graduate of the University of Evansville with his bachelor’s degree in engineering. He later received his master’s degree from Butler University. He proudly and honorably served in the Army National Guard from 1948 until 1951. He retired from Best Lock Corporation in 1994. He was an active member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Freida Roos; two sons, Gary (Barb) Roos and Jim (Anita) Roos; daughter-in-law, DeeDee Roos; six grandchildren, Noal, Darren, Nick, Heather, Jonathan, and David; and 13 great grandchildren, Xzavier, Chloe, Megan, Evan, Owen, Esther, Charlotte, Alexander, Elliot, Emma, Autumn, Ruby, and Ember. He was preceded in passing by a brother, Arthur Roos.
Services will be at 12 noon Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Colonial Hills Baptist Church, 8140 Union Chapel Road. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
