William F. Baue

William F Baue, 92, of Indianapolis passed away on August 6, 2020. He was born December 28, 1927 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late William and Frieda Baue. William dutifully served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a simple and gentle man. He was very handy and intrigued in fixing and restoring motors and machines. William was a dedicated employee for Western Electric for 33 years and Bo-Mar Industries Inc. for 8 years. William was married to the love of his life, Charlotte Baue, for 60 wonderful years. Together they enjoyed many trips to Wisconsin—where William fished and hunted with family. William touched many lives, and he will be missed sorely by all.

William is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte.

He is survived by his children, William Baue (Pamela), Richard Baue, and Patricia Ray (Garr); his brother, Frederick Baue; his 6 grandchildren; and his 9 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 4-8PM at Flanner Buchanan—Memorial Park, 9350 E Washington St. Indianapolis, Indiana 46229. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 11AM at the funeral home. William will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery next to his late wife.
