William E. Ford

On Tuesday, November 14, 2017 William E. Ford heard the Voice of God whispering to him “Come my child to the place that I have prepared for you” William Earnest Ford was born April 25, 1927 in Munfordville,  Kentucky. He moved to Indianapolis, Indiana at early age and was united in marriage to Lena Mae Gaines on February 26, 1946. To this union was born James, Glenda, and Alfred Ford.  He was a husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. William was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters. He leaves to cherish his memory; two sons, James (Jennie) Ford and Alfred (Deborah) Ford; a daughter Glenda (Booker) Prather; one sister, Vera Johnson; one brother Frank (Dimples) Coats and an extended family, Wanda Beashear, George, Donald, Roscoe, Cecil, Wonnie, and Roy Howard: and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
