William E. Demaree

William E. “Bill” Demaree, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away February 28, 2018. He was born on January 6, 1926 in Indianapolis as the son of John E. and Bessie M. (Warren) Demaree. He attended Arsenal Technical High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He married his wife, Elsie, in 1950.

Bill was the owner of Demaree’s Radiator Service until he retired in 1989. He loved spending time on the lake, playing card games and working on anything around the house he could get his hands on. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Bill is survived by his son, William Demaree II; and his lifelong friend, Robert A. (Janice E.) Snyder. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Demaree; parents, John and Bessie Demaree; and siblings, Edward Demaree and James Demaree.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 12pm until 2pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm also at the funeral center.
