William Crosley, Jr., 88, of New Palestine, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 8, 2019.
He was born on October 25, 1930 in Fortville, IN to the late Will E. Crosley and Bertha (Hennis) Crosley. Bill graduated from Fortville High School and devoted nearly 40 years of service working as a Systems Analyst Programmer at Fort Benjamin Harrison. He was also very active with the Independent Nazarene Church of New Palestine and enjoyed vegetable gardening, fishing and traveling with family. Bill also stayed busy helping family and friends with their taxes and managing his rental property.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Myrna (Pigg) Crosley; children, Steve (Nyla) Crosley, David (Tamarah) Crosley and Barbara (Randy) Hood; 7 grandchildren, Crystal, Stephen, Adrian, Ashton, Dwight, Melissa, Angelica; and 9 great-grandchildren, Kaden, Logan, Bryce, Libby, Bentley, Millie, Mackenzie, Juliette, Liam. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings; Edward, Molly and Franklin Crosley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 4-8pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East. Funeral services will take place the following morning at 10am, also in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Friends are invited to leave online condolences for the family at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
