William “Bill” Thomas Brennan, 86, Indianapolis, IN, passed away January 4, 2025. He was born in Crawfordsville, IN to Donald Joseph Brennan and Vivian (Stewart) Brennan.
Bill graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1957. He joined the Indiana Army National Guard being honorably discharged in 1963.
Bill was a over the road truck driver when his children were young. He then worked in quality control at Stewart – Warner and also worked as a Security officer ending his career at Roche Diagnostics.
Bill was an avid fisherman, being a member of his local bass fisherman club until moving to Florida in 1999. He had a love of baseball and automobile racing. He was a mechanic for USAC midget team in the 1970’s and traveled the country providing team support.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 7 years, Jane Hadley Brennan.
Survivors include his daughters, Kristina (Anthony) Agresta, Suana (Mark) Lee which he shared with Sharon McAninch Brennan, with whom he was preceded in death. Grandchildren, Vincent (Tia) Agresta, Mateo (Jama) Agresta, Antonio (Brittany) Agresta, Joseph Lee, Ashley (Matt) Walsh, Carrie (Nick) Zamagias , Katie (Tony) Thongphay, Zach Lee, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, brother David (Suellen) Brennan and loving neices and nephew.
Visitation will be held 11:00 am – 11:00 pm, Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis. A memorial service will begin there at 1:00 pm. Online condolences may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
