William "Billy" Thompson

William A Thompson (known as Pawpaw) 75 of Indianapolis, IN, entered eternal life on Sunday February 6th 2022, he was born January 17th 1947 to Delmus and Ruth Thompson.

He will now be reunited with his wife Sondra K Thompson and walk together forever, their legacy & memories will be carried on by their daughter Tonia K Thompson & Daniel Sawyer, their youngest daughter Tabatha Rudge & Keith Rudge they had 5 incredible grandkids Drew & Courtney Sawyer, Joyclin Sawyer, Cassondra and Samantha Rudge. They also have 3 beautiful great-grand kids Landon Sawyer, Olivia Sawyer & Waylan Pitcock.

Billy was the most incredible, supporting, loving, funny, loud, amazing husband, father, pawpaw & friend that anyone could ask for, he lived for spending time with family & friends, he had a huge passion for supporting his grandchildren & great grandchildren in all their endeavors, he was always their #1 fan!!

He enjoyed spending his time bowling with his buddies, golfing with his friends and son-in-laws and grandkids, playing cards for quarters & sitting by the pool with his pool hat and water shoes! He was ready at anytime to sing a song, crack a joke or go on an adventure! His laughter was contagious and his spirit for life will forever be remembered, he is our family’s definition of a true hero!! In his favorite parting words, Peace out!!
