William "Bill" Robert Courtney

Bill Courtney, 50, of Wanamaker, Indiana, passed away on April 8, 2023, at Community Hospital South.

Bill was born in Indianapolis on May 15, 1972. and graduated from Franklin Central High School in 1992. He was the youngest son of Bob and Barbara Courtney. He was a 32-year kidney transplant recipient. Bill loved travelling, especially spending time at the family cabin in Orr, Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Courtney, and his mother Barbara (Owens) Courtney. He is survived by his five siblings, Karen (John) Young, Michael (Lisa) Courtney, Paula Courtney and Nancy Bradley and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation and celebration of life will be at Ritter Avenue Free Methodist Church, 1645 N. Ritter Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana on April 22, 2023. Visitation will be from 10am – 1pm with the service beginning at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the Ritter Avenue Free Methodist Church.
