William "Bill" Mcclure Gorrell

Bill was a Son, Brother, Uncle, Husband, and Father. He passed away suddenly on 12-3-19. Bill was well known for his bigger than life personality. He always had a smile on his face. Bill was never shy about sharing his thoughts, feelings, and opinions on any subject as was very vocal about his belief in Jesus. He worked at church as an usher and worked with many 3-5 year old children in Awana Cubbies for many years. He worked in the purchasing field for many years, however, when he moved to Indianapolis in 1998 Pharmacy became his passion. He earned his National Pharmacy Tech Certification (NCPHT) and worked on the pharmacy floor as a technician as well as in purchasing. He died doing what he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Donald and Mary Patricia and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife, JoAnne, son David, daughter, Colleen(David Wright). He also had 3 brothers Don (Frances), Bob (Linda), and Tom (Veronica). He had 7 step siblings Ronnie, Rannie, Linda, Doug, Janette, Debbie, and Jackie as well as numerous nephews and nieces and extended family. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them whenever possible. He was a great friend, mentor, and role model and will be greatly missed.
