William “Bill” Darrell Burdine, 58 of Lebanon, passed away on July 2, 2018. He was born on December 25, 1959 in Indianapolis to Herman Lee Burdine and Glenna Marie Harkleroad.
Bill Burdine was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend. He touched the lives of everyone he met. If you knew Bill well, you’d know he would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it. He was a workaholic that didn’t understand the idea of a vacation. If he wasn’t hard at work, you could find him on his Harley motorcycle or simply enjoying time with his family and friends. He could never sit still for too long and always needed to be working on something. He loved collecting old cars to work on even though most of the time they just collected dust in the garage. Bill could often be found in his garage where he would likely be jamming to classic 80’s rock ‘n roll with a cold Budweiser not too far away. The only thing bigger than his heart, was his garage. His laughter was contagious, because most of the time he was laughing at his own bad jokes. There are not enough words to describe the loss of such an amazing man. This world lost a beautiful soul and heaven gained an amazing angel.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Lynn Burdine; his children, Jeremy and Cynthia Burdine, Amanda Wethington, David Wethington, Amber and Jeremy Baxter, Cody Burdine; his grandchildren, Shane Green, Abby Wethington, Gage Wethington, Aidan Wethington, Lilliana Burdine. Not to mention multiple “adopted” children and grandchildren that he thought of as his own.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Zionsville, 105 W. Pine Street.
