William "Bill" D. Renner

William D. “Bill” Renner, 85 of Carmel, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018.  Bill was born August 2, 1933 In Stanton, NE to the late William F. and Fannie M. Renner.  He was a graduate of Oklahoma City University and served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955.

Bill was the comptroller for Western Electric, which became Lucent Technology, later Nokia. He retired in 1987 with 30 years service.

Bill was a charter member of Cornerstone Lutheran Church and the Financial Executives Institute-International.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 6 at 11:00 am at Cornerstone Lutheran Church.  Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 at the church.

Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dottie; daughter, Rebecca A. (husband, Brian) Kaufman; grandsons, Jaron and Jordan.  Bill was preceded in death by his son, William J. Renner.
