William "Bill" Bullington

William “Bill” Bullington, 72, passed away on March 6, 2023.

He was born on July 28, 1950, in Scottsville, Kentucky, to James and Lyla (Wheeler) Bullington.

Bill graduated from Tech High School in Indianapolis and entered the working world. He spent many years working for Stewart Wagner and Joint & Clutch before joining the team at Bunzl Distribution. He committed over 30 years to Bunzl before he reached retirement in 2013. Bill was an avid fisherman, a league bowler, a die-hard Reds fan, and a forever friend to everyone he spent time with. Bill found endless joy in spending time with his family and “Papaw” was his favorite title.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Karen (Hardy); Four daughters – Jennifer Emler, Crystal (Jimmy) Strong, Melissa (Jimmy) Scott, and Emily (Eric McIntyre) Teskey; Ten grandchildren, Thirteen great-grandchildren, and One great-great-grandchild. Bill is also survived by brothers and sisers – Jim, Arcy, Dave, Ronnie, Norma, Lucy, Lisa, and Fannie

He was preceded in death by his father, James (JC) Bullington; mother, Lyla Wheeler Bullington; sister Shirley Bath, brother Sam Bullington, and son-in-law Nick

Funeral service will take place 4 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229. Visitation will take place from 12 p.m. until time of service.
