Willard E. Baker

Willard Eugene Baker, 85 of Columbus, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2018. He was born on December 22, 1932 to the late Hagan and Rebeca Baker in St. Charles, Virginia.

Willard was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Deborah, his three brothers; and his loving wife, Mollie. They shared 46 years together. From that marriage came four children, two daughters and two sons.

He is survived by three children; Terry, Diana, and Jack; three grandchildren, Josh, Heather, and Tim; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Willard shared the last 17 years with his companion, Ruby.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan-Speedway, 2950 N. High School Rd., from 11AM-12PM, with the service immediately following. Burial will take place at West Ridge Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
