Wendy Whitt, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away January 24th, 2021. She was March 28th, 1951, in Yakima, Washington, to parents Roy and Audrey (Hazen) Schmidt.
She graduated from Evergreen high school in Washington.
Wendy proudly served her country in the United States Army.
In 1974, Wendy married the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” Whitt Sr. They shared 25 wonderful years of marriage together.
Until retiring, Wendy worked as a visual information specialist for the VA medical hospital.
Wendy was a lively, generous woman with many interests and collections. She expressed herself creatively through photography, painting, drawing, and sculpting miniatures. Wendy took great pride in her koi ponds. She and her family loved Christmas and movies. Later in life, Wendy enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. Above all, she adored her family, and cherished the time spent with loved ones. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her daughter Jaime Whitt; stepchildren Lorre, Chuck Jr., Vicki, Tammy, and Tim; siblings, Joanne, Michael, and Stewart; grandchildren Daniel, Emily, Sara, Lorronishae Jr., Cesar Jr., Korbyn, William, Victor, Hart, and Walter; great-grandson Emmett; her canine companion, Remy; and her dear friend Judy Tremaine.
Wendy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Chuck Whitt; siblings Sharon Everson, Nancy Michler, Fay Prose, Dennis Schimdt; and several canine furbabies.
