Weldon Charles "Chuck" Jones

Weldon Charles (Chuck) Jones, Jr. was born on April 26, 1949, at St. Frances Hospital in Beech Grove, IN. He passed away January 27, 2023, at the age of 73. He was preceded by his parents W.C. (Bud) Jones & Debra E. (Bruntcher) Jones. He is the beloved husband of Sandra (Ferrall) Jones, married 54 years, who survives him, as well as his sons Christopher & Jason, grandchildren Ryan & Caitlin, brothers Mike & Shane Jones & sister Yvonne Keresman. He was a graduate of Zionsville High School, past president & coached Zionsville youth football, a member of Zionsville Jaycees, past president of & developed a Zionsville Soccer League, and he coached & umpired little league baseball, coached Zionsville Boys Club basketball, played & umpired adult softball for many years. He also coached women’s softball. He had a love for hunting, shooting sports & fishing. He loved being a bus driver for Brownsburg School Corp. He was loved by everyone he came in contact with. Most of all, he loved his family being around him. He will be missed & loved very, very much from all of us.

Viewing will be Saturday, February 11 at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan – Zionsville at 105 W. Pine Street in Zionsville. Funeral will begin at 2 p.m., followed by burial at Salem Cemetery.
