Wei-Bao Fong

Wei-Bao Fong, 75, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away May 18, 2022 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was born on July 24, 1946, in Nanking, China.  She moved to the United States in 1971.  Daughter of Yu-Tzong Ho and Jing-Wei Fong.

Wei-Bao has been retired since 2007.  She worked for 20 years as a research associate. She loved spending time with her family, especially her three granddaughters.  She will be remembered for her kind heart and her love for her family.

Wei-Bao is survived by her husband Shao-Ling Fong; sisters Wei-Chuan Kao, Shin-Yi Liu, Wei-Chin Ho; brother Steven Ho; daughter Amy Fong; son-in-law Sherman Ibarra; grandchildren Sofia, Phoebe, and Daphne; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 9:30 am until 10:00 am at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road, Indpls, IN 46250, where a memorial service will immediately follow, beginning at 10:00 am.  Inurnment will follow the service in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery (Good Shepherd Chapel).
