Wayne Edward Kinman (80), loving husband, father, and grandfather passed from this life to be with his Lord on April 7, 2021. Wayne was born in Petersburg, Indiana on July 25, 1940. He attended Broad Ripple High School and Butler University. Wayne began his 52-year career at MCL Cafeterias in June of 1956 as a bus boy. He was promoted to various positions over the years until his appointment in 1973 as Corporate Treasurer; the position he held for 35 years until his retirement in 2008. Wayne met his future wife of 56 years, Pamela Ann Carson, when she began working at MCL.
Wayne enjoyed many years in a Christian Men’s bowling league, golfing, and coaching softball for his girls.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Shirley R. Kinman, Jr. and Mabel E. Kinman and daughter, Kimberly Sue Kinman. Wayne is survived by his wife, Pam; daughters, Michelle Crisci (Stan) and Kristin Coyer (Matt); sister, Nancy Parvin (Larry); grandchildren: Samuel, Lauren and Kylie Crisci and Rachel and Ryan Coyer. In addition, he is survived by sister-in-law, Deb Carson; brother-in-law, David Carson; niece, Debi LeVee Risch; nephew, David LeVee, and nephew, Carl Carson III (Holly).
Visitation will be held from 11am to 2pm on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46250. The service will follow visitation hours, beginning at 2pm, immediately followed by a graveside service, also at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Wayne’s honor to Wheeler Mission or Samaritan’s Purse.
