Wanda Mae Olson of Indianapolis entered eternal rest on November 1, 2018 at the age of 87.
She was born February 2, 1931 in Newark, Indiana to the late Ralph and Vada Watkins Ooley.
She worked as a secretary for her husband’s business, Superior Excavating. She also worked at Top Value. Since childhood Wanda has been part of a non-denominational Christian fellowship. She loved the outdoors and especially loved gardening and her roses. But most of all her life was dedicated to her family.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years Verdus Olson; children Dorinda Crawmer (Dick), Twanette Baker (Kevin), and Delbert Olson (Kathy); grandchildren Kent Crawmer (Kathy), Kevin Crawmer (Brittney), Cole Loveall (Alyssa), Jill Loveall (Gabriel), Chase Loveall, Sarah Olson, Luke Olson, and Joseph Olson; great-grandchildren Ty Crawmer, Macie Crawmer, Kaylynn Crawmer, Cody Crawmer, Quinn Crawmer, and West Loveall; brother Lloyd Ooley (Janice); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Jean Myers, Don Ooley, and Paul Ooley.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 5 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (Community Life Center), 10612 E. Washington St, Indianapolis with Funeral Services beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
