Wanda Faye Hendricks, 85 of Camby, IN passed away November 19, 2021. She was born on September 8, 1936 in Redmon, Illinois to the late William H. and Helen M. (Abel) Frye. Wanda was a 1954 graduate of Loogootee High School. She was a Homemaker and previously she worked for 8 years for the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and for Kendrick Memorial Hospital for 12 years. Wanda was a faithful member of the West Newton United Methodist Church for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Wanda is survived by her loving children, Charlyn Miller, Leah (David) Coppess, grandchildren, Rachel (Kurt) Herzog, Bryan (Kristi) Coppess, Brent (Heidi) Coppess, Rebekah (Khristopher) Rodriguez, Breana (Seth Bedell) Coppess, Jordan (Emma) Miller, great grandchildren, Tatiana Perez, Tanner Bedell, Lillian Miller, Makenzie Coppess, Madilyn Coppess, Aaron Miller, Charlie Coppess, Tucker Bedell, Mia Coppess, Remi Coppess, June Miller, and her brothers, Gerald (Mary Rose) Frye and Herb (Mickie) Frye. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, C. Eugene “Gene” Hendricks, whom she married October 20, 1956 and enjoyed 60 years of marriage, her grandson Aaron Norwood, sisters, Hazel Walton, Doris Secrest and her brother, Harold Frye. Services will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the West Newton United Methodist Church 6843 Mendenhall Road Indianapolis, IN with visitation there Friday, November 26, 2021 4:00-8:00 pm and Saturday, November 27th 12:00-1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery. The family request memorial gifts be made to the Hoosier Burn Camp-Aaron Norwood Memorial Scholarship P.O.
