Walter R. Diaz

Walter R. Diaz, 92, of Indianapolis, IN passed away November 27, 2021. He was born on August 9, 1929 to the late Roberto and Encarnación Ramirez Diaz in Robstown, TX.

He was a loving husband and father to eight children. He dedicated much of his career to Cardinal and Underwood as a truck driver moving heavy machinery.

He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Connie M. Diaz; children, Mary Skaggs, Walter (Connie) Diaz Jr., Gloria (Dwight) Elsbury, Arturo (Ruth) Diaz, Roberto Diaz, and Angela (Todd) Everton; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great  grandchildren.

He is preceded in passing by two sons Ricardo Diaz and Antonio Diaz.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 4-8PM with Funeral Services being held the following day, Friday, December 3rd at 11AM all at Flanner Buchanan- Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229.
