Walter Johnson

Walter Eugene Johnson, 88, passed away at home on February 27th, 2020.

Walter was born on January 19th, 1932, in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He married Melba (Jean) Smith in November of 1959 and had two children Douglas and Darlene.

Walter worked for Chrysler Corporation for 35 years, and after retiring, he worked for 15 years at Walmart.  He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.

Walter is survived by his loving wife, Melba; his daughter, Darlene; his grandchildren, Shawn Staggs, Spencer Warren, Grace Warren, Lily Warren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4^th, from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 East Washington Street, Indianapolis. Services will immediately follow.
