Vivian Rose Cook

Vivian Rose Cook, 96 of New Palestine, passed away on September 13, 2018.

She was born on July 5, 1922 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Sam and Essie Thixton. In April of 1954 she married the love of her life, Jack A. Cook and they shared 64 wonderful years together. Vivian retired from Wonder Bread Bakery, she was a member of the Irvington, now Englewood chapter Order of the Eastern Star, and enjoyed the friendships she made at the Sahara Grotto.

She is survived by her husband, Jack A. Cook and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, and brother.

Friends and family are invited to gather from 2:00-6:00pm on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East. A funeral service will take place 1:00pm on Monday, September 17, 2018 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.
