Virginia Sue Johnson

Virginia Sue Johnson, 68, of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. She was born on September 6, 1948 in Martinsville, IN to the late Raymond and Hettie (Roy) Bolin. Sue graduated from high school in 1966 in Hardyville, KY and worked for over 20 years as a Customer Service Representative for State Auto, retiring in 2012. She loved attending church and listening to gospel music. Sue is survived by her husband of 42 years, Edmond Johnson; son, Marcus Johnson; sisters, Betty Popplewell and Rosaleen Rhoden; brother, Daniel Ray Bolin; sister-in-law, Bernice Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Raymond Bolin, Jr., Helen Knerr, Ruby Richie, Paul Bolin, Frank Bolin, Roy Bolin and Freddy Bolin. Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be held at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 1pm. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service, also at the funeral home.
