Virginia “Lynn” Klesa, of Indianapolis, passed away January 27, 2019, at the age 72. Born March 22, 1947 in Connellsville, PA, one of three daughters, and one brother of the late John “Jack” Walter Smith and Harriett Humphrey Smith.
Lynn graduated from New Kensington School of Commerce in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. She worked at Yoder Brothers, Inc. in Barberton, Ohio as a secretary, and at Woodbrook Elementary School in Carmel, Indiana as a teacher’s assistant for special needs students. Later in life she was a homemaker, caring for her husband and three children. She was a devoted wife and mother with strong faith in God.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, J. Douglas Smith. Surviving are her husband, J. M. “Mike” Klesa; her children, M. Scott Klesa, his wife Amy; Damon C. Klesa, his wife Molly; her grandchildren, Nate, Patrick, Charlie and Abby; her daughter, Hillary E. Klesa; her sisters, Barbara J. Cowan; Diane E. Woolf, her husband Randall; and her many nieces and nephews.
