Virginia Lorraine Compton

Virginia Lorraine Compton, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 23, 2018. She was born on February 21, 1929 in Fries, VA to the late John and Cynthia Wiles. Virginia was a longtime member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Wanamaker and considered the people there her second family. She loved to go shopping, eating meals out, and was nearly impossible to beat at checkers. She was a joyful and positive person who never knew a stranger and cherished the friendships she made throughout her life, and will be missed dearly by those who knew her.

There will be a gathering from 10:00am-11:00am on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, with brief words to be shared at 11:00am.
