Virginia L. Turner

Virginia L. Turner 90 of Clayton, Indiana passed away December 14, 2021. She was born on February 6, 1931 in Cicero, IN to the late Thomas and Marjorie (Bowman) Freeman. Virginia work for Lane Bryant in Data Management for many years prior to retiring. She was a member of the Lynhurst Chapter #505 Order of the Eastern Star, where she served and is a Past Worthy Matron. She had numerous interests including arranging flowers, crocheting, and doing various handicrafts. She was loved by many and will be truly missed by all who knew her. Virginia is survived by her son, Terry (Tabitha) Turner, grandson, Aaron Kwammi, nieces, Jeannie, Marjorie and nephew, Jack. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Comer Turner. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 4:00pm-8:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park with the service there on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Entombment will follow the service at Floral Park Cemetery. The family request memorial contributions be made to the Lynhurst Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star 1239 S.
