Virginia "Ginny" Carole Foxworthy

 Virginia (Ginny) Foxworthy passed away on September 3, 2024. She was born April 21, 1939 to Ted Kiefer and Bernice Baum Kiefer. She was an only child. She was born and raised on the west side of Indianapolis.

 Ginny graduated high school from Ben Davis in 1957 and graduated college from Indiana University in 1961. She belonged to the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. 

 She married Michael V. Foxworthy in 1962. They went to high school together, but did not date until Ginny came home from IU one summer. They had one son, Ted Foxworthy.

 Both of her parents died in 1963 and Ginny and Mike moved into her childhood home. She lived here the rest of her life.

 Ginny was a passionate crafter and took part in an apple festival at Anderson Orchard every fall. They loved to go to the backwoods of Canada and fish. They did so for 48 years.

 Survivors include: husband Mike Foxworthy of 62 years old , her son Ted (Cindy) Foxworthy, Grandchildren Andrea (Nathaniel) Butz, Jamie (Welter) Solares, and Jacob Foxworthy, and two great-grandchildren Benjamin Butz and Vincent Solares. 

 Funeral service will be held at Flanner and Buchanan at 2950 N Highschool Rd, Speedway, IN 46224 on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 12 PM with visitation two hours before.
