Virgil Paul Shockley

Virgil Paul Shockley, 81 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on September 30, 2020. He was born on July 25, 1939 in Lafayette, TN to the late Finlay and Eula (Rani) Shockley. Virgil was a Store Manager for National Tea Co. After leaving the grocery business he provided promotional work to various companies and was involved in the Indy Sports Magazine. He is survived by his wife Joan K. (Shutt) Shockley, his children, Lisa Downton, Suzanne Adams, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, his brother, Daniel Shockley, his sister, Joy Albright and half-sister, Barbara Ruth Brake. There are no services or visitation planned at this time and he will be cremated. Flanner and Buchanan Decatur Township is honored to be entrusted with these arrangements for the Shockley family.
