Viola Jean Durham

Viola Jean Durham, 96, of Indianapolis passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020.

She was born in Indianapolis on May 16, 1924 to the late Frank L. Tucker and Catherine V. (Clark) Tucker.  Viola was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  Viola worked for Target of Indianapolis for 16 years & loved what she did. In her final days, she was cared for by Rosewalk Senior living of Indianapolis where all who cared for her, Loved her & cherished her loving spirit.

She was always ready to help people whenever there was a need & would sacrifice her own pleasures for the sake of others.

She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

She is survived by her daughters, Valerie (The Late Fred Fennell) Fennell and Audrey (Richard A.) Karsten; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Viola is preceded in death by her husband of 33 cherished years, Roy S. Durham; brother, Virgil Tucker; sister, Vilma Doan.

Due to Covid-19, services are being held privately Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home.
