Vera Patricia Cox

Vera Patricia “Patty” Cox, 90 of Indianapolis, IN passed away February 20, 2018.
She was born August 20, 1927 to Glenn and Maude Trotter in Belgrade, NE. Her family moved to Indianapolis in 1938. Patty graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1944. She married Theodore “Ted” Cox on May 9, 1946.
Patty was an active member of the Indianapolis First Church of the Nazarene. She was known for her gift of encouragement, her sweet spirit and her heart for others.
Patty is survived by her son Jerry (Donna) Cox, daughters Connie (Chuck) Cunningham, Malinda (George) Baker, nine grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, her parents, brothers Richard Trotter and Darrell Trotter, and son-in-law Patrick Doyle.
A Celebration of Patty’s life will be held at 6 PM on Friday, February 23 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 9401 E. 25th St, Indianapolis with calling 4 PM until the time of service.
