Vance L. Fonville

Vance L. Fonville, age 47, was born October 3, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. He was the son of Henry Sr. and Shirley Fonville. Vance passed away on November 19, 2018. He graduated from Stephen Decatur High School. He was a member of the Blended Church. Vance was employed with United Parcel Service (UPS) for 22 years. His greatest joys in life were his family and friends. He was united in marriage to Sendney Fonville for 22 years. Vance leaves to cherish his memory; six sons, Brandon (Doreka) Mason of Indianapolis, IN, Julius Barhams of Elkhart, IN, Stephen Fonville and Emanuel Fonville of Indianapolis, IN, Lamar Jones (Veronica) of South Bend, IN, and Pharoah Brown of Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren; godchild, Vineece Thompson; siblings, Linda (Vincent) Reed-Thompson, Rachel Fonville, Linda Fonville-Snarling, Cassandra Fonville-Harbert, Vicky Young, Larry Fonville, Bruce Fonville and Stan Fonville. Vance was preceded in death by his father, Henry Fonville Sr.; brother, Henry James Fonville; sister Pat Hardy and his grandparents.
