Trudy L. Waggoner

Trudy L. Waggoner, 82 of Brownsburg, Indiana formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away July 1, 2022.  She was born July 9, 1939, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Irvin Arnold and Iva Gertrude (Henderson) Myers.

Trudy retired as a secretary in the library at Manual High School after working there 29 years. Prior to that she worked in the State Library for the Blind.  She enjoyed genealogy, photography, and scrapbooking.  Trudy was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Robert ‘Chris’ Simpson; husbands, Robert Waggoner and John Simpson; parents, Irvin and Iva; sister, Loretta Riley; brother, Charles Myers; and nephew, Charles Lee Bruder.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Gavin Simpson, Darren Waggoner, Ross Waggoner, Staci Seber; children, Robert Waggoner, Patricia Love, Linda Seber; three great grandchildren; nieces, Teresa Blakley, Jerri Lynn Martinez, and Jill Cardwell; and nephews, Harry Myers, and Jesse Myers.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park with visitation there from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  She will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery following the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital in memory of Trudy.  To sign the online guest book and share a story or favorite memory with her family you are encouraged to go to www.flannerbuchanan.com
