Toy Kee Chin, 90, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on October 10, 2024. He was born on March 31, 1934 in the providence of Guangdong, city of Taishen, China. He was the son of Lan Form Chin and Soo Jin Chin. He was an only child and raised by his mother Soo Jin Chin. He married Anna Yee on December 15, 1964.
In his youth, Toy Kee Chin immigrated to the United States and joined the United States Army. After his service with the Army, Toy got married, had nine kids, and was a dedicated chef and worked at Lotus Garden (Indianapolis, Carmel, and Greenwood) most of his life. He was also a handyman with basic skills of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical.
His hobbies were collecting coins, traveling, and play cards and games with friends.
He is survived by his daughters Lucilla Chin, Lisa (Chin) Wagner (Theodore), Helen (Chin) Sinex, Eva Chin, and his two sons James Chin and William Chin as well as five grandchildren.
He is preceded in passing by his wife of 59 years (Anna) daughters Lily (Chin) Tomaich, Linda Chin, and Beverly Chin.
