Tonya L. Booker

Tonya L. Booker, 60 of Sheridan, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020. Tonya was born August 16, 1959 in Indianapolis to the late Clarence and Mildred Butler.  She retired from ITT Education Services in 2012 after 32 years as a computer operations coordinator.  Tonya was a member of Carmel Apostolic Church.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Thursday, February 20 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, where family and friends are invited to gather from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 19.

Tonya was the widow of Thomas M. Booker.  She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Flynn; step sons, Tim Booker and Tom Booker; grandchildren, JP Evans, Maribeth Flynn, Jaidan Shivley, Jeremy Flynn, Travis, Nick, David and Aubrey Booker; great grandchildren, Kaelynn, Hazel and Henry Booker; sister, Kathleen McCarty; brothers, Wendell Williamson, Clarence William “Billy” Butler and James “Jimmy” Booker.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Wayne Booker.
