Toni Kay Johnson, 67, of Camby, Indiana passed away August 9, 2019. She was born February 8, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to William Ingram and Norma Brooks.
Toni enjoyed reading, traveling, and going to the movies. She was a true family woman; she loved to spend time with her husband, kids, and grandkids. She was a huge Disney fan and especially loved Mickey Mouse. She worked for 15 years as a teachers aid for Decatur Township as well as Owen County schools. Toni also taught preschool at Valley Mills Preschool alongside her daughter, Michelle. She was truly one of a kind and her passing leaves an empty space in the hearts of those who were blessed enough to meet her. Peace can be found in knowing she loved God above all else and lived her life for Him, we will see her again one day.
Toni is preceded in death by her father, William Ingram; grandson, Jonah; step-father, Austin Brooks. Surviving to carry on her legacy are, loving husband of 50 years, Bob Johnson; children, Rob (Stephanie), Mike (Judy), Michelle (Matt); grandchildren, Kaelyn, Josh, Jacob, KayAnn, Emma, Michael, Hannah, Madison, Aaron, Jaden, and Ethan; brothers, Larry and Joe (Leona); as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
All are welcome to gather Thursday, August 15 from 3-6 PM at Valley Mills Christian Church, 5555 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46221. A Memorial Service will take place at 6 PM.
