Tommy Trefts

Tommy Trefts, 74, Indianapolis, passed away February 23, 2017. He was born March 27, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Warren Harding Trefts and Ruth Evelyn (Radford) Trefts. Tommy worked for Herff Jones for 41 years. He also loved working for many years at the Indianapolis 500. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sisters, Diana Woody and Sandy Whitley, his brother, Garry Trefts, 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 4 great-nieces, 1 great-nephew, and 1 great-great-niece. Services will be on Thursday, March 2 at 11 AM at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd. W. Drive. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 1 from 4-8 PM at the funeral center. Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
