Timothy Joseph Receveur

Timothy Joseph Receveur, 60, of Okeechobee, Florida passed away on November 5, 2020. Tim was born on October 20, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Joseph and Karen Receveur. He was a retired truck driver with Oliver Trucking Corporation and a life-long fisherman. He attended Oakview Baptist Church in Okeechobee, Florida. Survivors include his father Joseph Receveur; wife, Ella Receveur; siblings, Tammy Waldrup and Terrance (Kristina) Receveur; children, Kellen (Nichol) Receveur and Tara (Ryan) Mitchell; grandchildren, Jaxon and Brielle Mitchell; and seven nieces & nephews. Tim is preceded in death by his mother, Karen Receveur. A celebration of life will be held Monday, November 9, 2020, at The American Legion Post 64, 601 S Holt Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46241 starting at 4:00pm with services at 6:00pm. At 6:00pm there will be a Celebration of Life in Tim’s honor followed by military honors.  Tim’s ashes will be scattered over his most beloved final resting place, Lake Okeechobee. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors or The Exotic Feline Rescue Center.
