Thyra R Rosenberger

Thyra Roselyn (Lannerd) Rosenberger 85, Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Zionsville Meadows following a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on October 28, 1931 to John Herbert Lannerd and Martha (Huffman) Lannerd. Thyra was married to Thomas J. Rosenberger on July 21, 1951 in Manhattan, KS. Survivors include her sister Fabian Trogdon, sons Scott (Marty Williams), John (Marilee), Kurt (Jill), Pete (Wendy) ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, brother Joseph and daughter-in-law Becky. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday at 11 a.m. until 12 noon at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway Funeral Center at 2950 N. High School Road. The funeral service will be held following visitation on Friday with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery immediately following.
