Thu Tran Nguyen, age 77, formerly of Porter, Indiana. Passed away on Sunday morning, June 16, 2024 at her current residence in Avon, Indiana.

Thu was born on March 10, 1947 in Năm Đình, Vietnam. A daughter of Đình Thị Nam and Trần Hữu Kim. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 younger sisters. Her husband, Nhu Van Nguyen preceded her in death on March 10, 2017.

She is survived by her sons, Huy Nguyen and Patrick Nguyen of Avon, Indiana, and daughters Nancy (husband Chris) Sherman of Plainfield, Indiana, and Lisa (husband Tim) Battles of Antelope, California; granddaughters, Jolee, Mailee, and Hayden Sherman of Plainfield, Indiana.
