Thomas Pruitt

Thomas Pruitt, 77 of Indianapolis passed away August 16, 2018 at his home.

He was born October 17, 1940 in London, Kentucky to Bill and Cory Pruitt.  He married the love of his life Betty on January 4, 1964. He retired from Henry C. Smither Roofing. Thomas was active in his community including his membership at Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed his mall walking group at Washington Square Mall and taking the family dog Prince on walks.

Thomas is survived by his daughter Lynn T. Barker (Greg); granddaughter Elisha Barker; brother Robert Pruitt (Shirley); and sister Helen Doris (Jack). He was preceded in death by his wife Betty A. Pruitt.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 20 from 4 to 8 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis.  Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, August 21 with visitation 10 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
