Thomas Patrick Sheehan

Thomas Patrick Sheehan, 65 of Indianapolis, passed away on December 4, 2018 from heart disease.

He was born on June 11, 1953 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late John Joseph Sheehan II and Faythe Mantel Sheehan.  Tom was a 1972 graduate of Greenfield Central High School and earned a B.S. from Indiana University.  Tom worked for United Signature Foods in Indianapolis from 1988 – 2001, at Nice Pak in Mooresville from 2003-2004, and most recently with Park 100 in Tipton from 2004 – 2011.  Tom was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on his favorite athletic teams: Indianapolis Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Reds and his beloved Indiana Hoosiers.

He is survived by his sons, Thomas P. (Hillary Morrow) Sheehan II and Joseph Sheehan; sisters, Janet Sheehan and Margaret (Michael) Pulliam; nephews, Alex and John Pulliam; and canine companions, Shannon and Zeus.  Tom was preceded in death by his devoted canine companion, Tyson.  Dogs, family, friends, and sports defined Tom’s life, though not always in that order.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 23rd, from 2PM – 3PM at Flanner Buchanan – Geist, 7855 Cork Rd., Indianapolis, with a memorial service immediately following at 3PM.  Friends are invited to leave online condolences for the family atwww.flannerbuchanan.com.
