Thomas Martin

Thomas Martin, of The Villages, Florida, passed away May 4^th, 2022. He was born January 3^rd, 1945, in Indianapolis and grew up with parents Charles and Dorothy Martin.

Tom was a proud alumnus of Butler University.

He worked at Peerless Pump for many years before retiring, a job at which he excelled and enjoyed.

Tom was a high-spirited, independent gentleman. His career allowed him to travel the world, and he loved exploring new places, from Chicago to Saudi Arabia. Woodworking was a passion for Tom. He built his own woodworking shop to hone his craft, creating novelty wooden pens.

Tom was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings Bill (Rita) Jared, Nancy (Doug) DeWitt, and Judy (Ronald) Goelz.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Richard Martin.

Tom’s graveside service will be Monday, May 23^rd, at Washington Park East Cemetery at 11am.
